Hi, Chamisa friends! Thank you for your referral. A few things to note, for y’all’s benefit and that of your client(s), before you start:
If the patient does not have recent labs (ideally within 3 months), we will recommend pre-op blood work before any anesthetized or sedated procedure.
For sedated or anesthetized procedures: We will always ask the client and patient to come in for a pre-op consult with the doctor before we schedule the surgery. The cost of the consult is our standard $135.24 physical exam fee, and we will provide a written estimate for the procedure as part of the consultation.
For sedated imaging: Depending on the nature of the images requested, we may or may not ask the client and patient to come in for a consult before we schedule the imaging appointment.
In either case, no additional exam/office visit charges will apply on the day of the procedure or imaging.
Consult, procedure, and imaging “scheduling”: 9:00 AM is the only time we can book for sure! Consults will probably take 30-40 minutes, but procedure/imaging appointments will be drop-offs.
We will email you once we reach out to your client to schedule, and it is our goal to do so within 24 hours of receiving the referral.
