Hiring Announcement (Summer 2025)

Job application is once again live!: LINK

As a reminder, the job descriptions are here: Client Care Team | Nursing Team

What we’re looking for this time:

  • 2 nursing team members (full-time). With this hiring cycle, our goal is to bring in folks who have a strong interest in veterinary nursing, but have never worked in the profession before. By joining us, you’ll get a mentor and a formal training program to take you from zero to “functional member of a veterinary nursing team.” We hope we can serve as a launchpad for your career in veterinary medicine. We’d be thrilled for you to go on to bigger and better things!

  • 1 client care team member (part-time). We’d probably be looking for two 10-hour shifts a week! Previous experience in vet med is not required.

Other information:

  • Projected hire date: October 2025! Yes, we’re starting our search early :)

  • Schedule: We work four 10-hour shifts per week. Shifts are typically either 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Starting out, you will probably work both weekend days at least every other week (just like everyone else).

  • Pay & benefits:

    • Nursing team: You’ll begin at $21/hour, with regular increases provided you progress through your training as expected.

    • Client care team: You’ll begin at $24 to $28/hr, depending on experience

    • Everyone: We provide health, dental, vision, and AD&D insurance for folks who work over 30 hours/week; we also offer paid sick and vacation leave, as well as continuing education allowances.

  • Application process: First, we review everyone’s applications as they come in. Then, we schedule phone calls with the folks who look good on paper. After that, we follow up with in-person interviews for everybody whose phone calls go well. And finally, we’ll make hiring decisions promptly and let people know the good (or bad) news as soon as we can.
