Denise Montrose, DVM

Dr. Denise Montrose is a New Mexican through and through. She grew up in Espanola and went to New Mexico State for her undergraduate degree. She attended veterinary school at Colorado State and has worked as a veterinarian (and lived!) in western Colorado, northern New Mexico, and the Kansas City area.

Dr. Montrose is also a devoted dog owner and VERY devoted horse owner, often traveling to various equestrian events around the west and mid-west.

When she is not on shift at Turquoise Trail, she can be found filling in at various local practices as a relief veterinarian, and regularly pitching in as one of the permanent staff at the new Espanola Humane clinic.
